Anyone 18 or older with a valid U.S. ID (driver’s license or passport) and a U.S. bank account can apply.
During onboarding, we verify your identity via CLEAR® biometric checks in addition to your full legal name, date of birth, address, and Social Security number.
Account Types
Today, Fort Knox accounts are available for individual personal use only. Fort Knox does not currently support joint accounts, but it's on our radar. We’re working on ways to safely support joint account access while maintaining our high-security standards.

Downloading the App
Fort Knox is available exclusively via our iOS mobile app. You can check balances, initiate transfers, and review statements anywhere right from your phone.
