Initial Deposits are different from all other transfers in and out of Fort Knox, as they are the only transfers which Fort Knox will pull from your external bank account and push into your savings account.
Future deposits are made using your Secure Deposit Number, which behaves just like a traditional routing and account number, but can only be used to send money into your Fort Knox account.
