Once you've completed new user onboarding, you'll enter the Fort Knox dashboard where you can open new high-security savings accounts.
Simply log in, select Add New Savings Account, and follow the steps to create an account nickname, link your external funding account, and make your initial deposit.
Set your account nickname to something which easily identifies it, and keep in mind account nicknames do not accept special characters. If you'd like to change your account nickname
Fort Knox only offers individual personal accounts at this time. Joint accounts and Fort Knox Business Accounts are in development.
Why open additional Savings Accounts?
Because Closed-Loop™ Protection only allows for funds to be sent from a single Fort Knox account and your single external funding account, you'll need a separate savings account if you want to link another external checking account to Fort Knox.
Can I transfer funds between two Fort Knox accounts?
No – Because to us there's no such thing as too much security, Closed-Loop™ Protection applies within the Fort Knox environment as well.
Like its namesake, there's only one road out of a Fort Knox High-Security Savings Account.
