Monthly Maintenance Fee
A maintenance fee of $10 per month will be imposed on the 1st of each month on accounts which have an average monthly balance below $1,000 for the prior month.
Monthly maintenance fees are charged to the Fort Knox account balance.
No maintenance fees apply until a savings account has been open for 30 days. If the account is under 30 days at the start of a month and the prior month's average balance was below $1,000, no fee is charged. Fees begin only in the second month the balance stays below $1,000.
A minimum $100 deposit is required to open a Fort Knox Savings Account.
Other Fees
There are no fees associated with the transfer of funds between Fort Knox and your linked funding account.
Designed solely as a safe way to store your savings, Fort Knox accounts are non-transactional, and as such do not carry the fees usually associated with typical transactional accounts. Fees associated with your external bank account may apply.
