The Security Center is your personal control hub within the app where you manage your security settings, review account activity, and take action if anything suspicious comes up.
Security Measures
Security Measures are the safeguards you enable to protect your account – like Biometric Authentication, 3rd party authenticator apps, and YubiKey hard tokens.
The more you turn on, the more secure your account becomes.

Freezing your Account
You can instantly freeze your account any time in the Security Center.
Freezing your account blocks all transactions until you choose to un-freeze it, giving you a quick and powerful way to protect your money if something doesn't seem right.
Enhanced Security Zones
An Enhanced Security Zone is a high-security area of the Fort Knox App. Today, there are two distinct zones; Login and Funds Transfers.
2FA & Login
By default, Login requires biometric authentication. To enable 2FA (two-factor authentication), you may link a 3rd party authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, DUO Mobile, Google Authenticator), and/or a YubiKey, as an additional login requirement.
Funds Transfers
By default, initiating a funds transfer from your Fort Knox app requires that you pass Clear® Authentication. The optional security measures you add to your account, like an Authenticator App or a YubiKey, may be added as additional checks you must pass before initiating a transfer.
You control the level of security, ensuring that only you can access these sensitive parts of your account.
Customer Support Challenge Phrases
Your Customer Support Challenge Phrase is a shared secret between you and Fort Knox. When you contact Support, you ask the question, and our agent provides the correct answer.
This serves as a two-way verification tool which confirms both your identity and that you're speaking with a trusted, authorized Fort Knox Representative.
