To protect your funds and ensure the highest levels of security, Fort Knox maintains a proprietary Blacklist™, a restricted list of financial institutions and payment platforms that cannot be linked to your Fort Knox Savings Account.
This includes certain banks, credit unions, neobanks, and payment apps that exhibit high-risk characteristics or have a history of suspicious activity.
Why are some institutions blacklisted?
Institutions or platforms may be added to the Blacklist™ for several reasons, including:
- High rates of fraud or unauthorized transactions
- Weak security protocols that could expose your account to compromise
- Unstable operational practices or inconsistent transaction handling
- Excessive chargebacks or transfer reversals
- Regulatory or compliance concerns
What this means for you
If your external account is associated with a blacklisted institution, you will not be able to link it to Fort Knox or use it to fund your savings account. This restriction is in place strictly for your protection and the integrity of the Fort Knox platform.
